Dr. Martha Eddy
Dr. Eddy is an award-winning dance educator, exercise physiologist with a doctorate from Columbia University in Movement Science and Education and internationally renowned Registered Somatic Movement Therapist (RSMT) specializing in Developmental Movement Therapy. She is public speaker, curriculum writer and author who also has a small private practice in New York City. Martha served on the certification program faculty for both the School for Body-Mind Centering® and the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies from 1984 to 1994. She founded the Somatic Movement Therapy Program (SMTT) in 1992 and renamed it Dynamic Embodiment-SMTT in 2008. Martha Eddy is also the founder and director of the Center for Kinesthetic Education (CKE) in New York, where she specializes in creating movement programs for children with diverse learning issues. She is co-founder of two non-profit organizations - Moving On Center- The School for Participatory Arts and Somatic Research in Oakland (with Carol Swann), as well as Founding Director and currently the Director of Programming and Research for Moving for Life. Her books are Mindful Movement - the evolution of the somatic arts and conscious action and Dynamic Embodiment of the Sun Salutation with info on Balancing the Neuroendocrine System co-authored with Yoga Teacher, Massage Therapist and Dynamic Embodiment Practitioner, Shakti Smith.

Michelle Cohen-Coté
Michelle Cohen-Cote, MA, RSMT/E, brings to the fields of health and wellness her belief and passion in the power of movement, somatic awareness, and transformational coaching for enhancing wellbeing and embodiment. She is a registered somatic movement therapist/educator, dancer, and Sacred Depths Coach. Michelle has been a thought leader in the movement world since 1998. She has certifications in Pilates, Yoga, and Gyrotonic®, Body-Mind Dancing™, Dynamic Embodiment™, and Embodied Yoga and Body-Mind Centering®. She has a Master’s in Dance and Somatic Wellbeing. Michelle is currently training to become an Infant Developmental Movement Educator through the school of Body-Mind Centering® to further her work with babies and prenatal, postpartum and menopausal clients. Michelle has a very diverse private practice working with children through seniors in both virtual and in-person settings and also offers transformational coaching for clients looking to change a life situation and achieve their goals through a step-by-step mind-body approach.

Dana Davison
Dana Davison is a registered somatic movement therapist and educator (RSMT/RSME), certified Dynamic Embodiment® practitioner and teacher of Moving for Life® and BodyMind Dancing®. She studied classical ballet with Sher Marie Farrell (Farrell Ballet Theatre) and Sir William Martin-Viscount (Fort Worth City Ballet) before graduating from University of Texas in Russian Studies and Journalism. In 2010, serendipity led her to an intensive three-year training with Dr. Martha Eddy. She teaches somatic movement classes at BAX-Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Slope Wellness and Gilda's Club, as well as offering private sessions.

Sherry Greenspan
Sherry Greenspan is a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator, Pilates Practitioner, Yoga, and dance instructor as well as a dancer/choreographer/vocalist. She has studied extensively and worked with many well-known Pilates practitioners and has been studying, performing and teaching in NYC and Philadelphia for 25 years. "Sharing a movement experience with inspiring folks who show up in the spirit of community and individual health and wellness is deeply satisfying." Sherry is the founder of Eureka Movement Wellness Center in Colts Neck, NJ, where she teaches Moving For Life and many other classes. My on-going practice and study of Yoga, Aerial Somatics, Pilates, Dynamic Embodiment©, Barteneiff, BodyMind Centering© (Developmental work with infants through adulthood), Qi Gung, Feldenkrais, Eric Franklin, Thomas Hanna and other somatic systems continue to inspire and inform my work.

Ana Leon Bella
Ana Leon Bella has worked in movement for over 20 years as a dancer, fitness expert, and dance educator. She is a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist/Educator (RSMT/E) with ISMETA, a Laban Certified Movement Analyst (CMA), and a Dance Educator. Ana teaches Dance History and Dance Criticism at Wagner College, and Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Ana holds a Master's degree in Dance Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. She is also a Dance Artist for the Phyllis Rose Dance Company. She became a Certified MFL Instructor in July 2015, and currently teaches all over the city and in the MFL Teacher Training Program. Ana speaks Spanish, Italian, and is knowledgeable in Mandarin Chinese. Ana is founder of AB Movement Consulting, LLC.

Christina Banalopoulou
Christina Banalopoulou is a CMA with a Ph.D. in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Maryland. Her research explores the interconnections between the somatic and the political. Her work has appeared in The Journal of Philosophical Economics, Rethinking Marxism and Performance Philosophy. She is currently working on the project "Performing Mediterraneaness in the American South: An Ethnography of Mediterranean Solidarity in Chapel Hill, NC" with the Institute of Mediterranean Studies in Greece. Christina is completing her studies in Dynamic Embodiment Somatic Movement Therapy.
